Life Drawing Class

So last night, I managed to sneak away to a life drawing class down in Leith.
It was all about movement, drawing not what the figure is, but what the figure is doing.

From an animator's point of view, I found it very useful, and from a humans point of view I found it very free and fun.
The first graphite drawings were super quick 1 minute poses, then we moved on to so very slightly longer poses.

The red chalk was drawing the growing of the movement of the figure.

The last drawing was a long pose, with charcoal. We knocked back the drawing with a rag any time the figure moved or something wasn't working.
